Five world premiere plays and three new adaptations seen first by Chicago audiences received Jeff nominations by the Jeff Awards Committee and are among the 166 nominations in 36 categories announced for Chicago Equity theatrical productions opened between August 1, 2012 and July 31, 2013.

Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater and Door County's theatrical icon, opens its 78th season June 11 with the Wisconsin premiere of "Saloon" by Terry Twyman, a gritty, often raucous, cowboy tale set in the Old West with a real never-say-die spirit.

Kelley's adaptation of Richard Wright's Native Son which will receive a production in fall of 2014.

ABT's final 2012 -2013 production is Pulitzer Prize playwright Donald Margulies' 2010 Broadway script Collected Stories, co-directed by Steppenwolf Artistic Affiliate Jessica Thebus and Mary Ann Thebus.
