THE HURT LOCKER, MAD MEN, 30 ROCK Win at Writers Guild Awards

The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) announced the winners of the 2010 Writers Guild Awards on Saturday, February 20, for outstanding achievement in writing for screen, television, radio, news, promotional, and videogame writing at simultaneous ceremonies at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles and the Hudson Theatre at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City. Susie Essman of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' hosted the East Coast ceremony while Seth MacFarlane 'Family Guy' was the host for the West Coast show.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Broadway star Jesse Tyler Ferguson - who originated the role of Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - has reason to celebrate as the new comedy pilot he is featured in, 'Modern Family', has been given a 13-episode order from ABC.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Broadway star Jesse Tyler Ferguson - who originated the role of Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - has joined the cast of 'An American Family', a new comedy pilot from ABC.
