Caribbean Offerings at New Perspectives Theatre Company

Banana Boat Productions in association with New Perspectives Theatre Company (NPTC) is pleased to announce Crossing Boundaries, two short plays from Trinidadian writers as part of OFF THE BOAT, a summer Caribbean Theatre Festival. Dueling Voices, by the prolific Zeno Obi Constance, is paired with Nice by Mustapha Matura (Playboy of the West Indies.) The production runs August 18 through 27th at New Perspectives Studio, 458 West 37th Street, with performances Wednesday - Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 4:00pm.
TV favourites Paul Nicholls and Jack Ellis Star in THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION

Paul Nicholls (Eastenders), Jack Ellis (Bad Girls) and Ben Onwukwe (London's Burning) will star in the 2016 UK Tour of The Shawshank Redemption. Following its hugely successful launch last year, Bill Kenwright's new production of The Shawshank Redemption embarks on a national tour for 2016 coming to the Theatre Royal Glasgow from Monday 21 until Saturday 26 November.
Cast Announced for Beth Steel's LABYRINTH at Hampstead Theatre

Hampstead Theatre presents the world premiere of Beth Steel's LABYRINTH, a Hampstead Theatre commission. Directed by Anna Ledwich, this compelling new thriller explores the fallout from one the most catastrophic economic crises of modern history, which brought Latin America to its knees for decades. The play runs 1 September-8 October, with press night on 7 September.
The Royal Court Theatre's Youth Board Takes Over The Theatre

Following Open Court in 2013, when the writers had the keys, this time the Royal Court has handed the keys of the building to the theatre's Youth Board and 10 young writers aged 15 - 24. Over the next three weeks they are in charge and they will be tackling the issues that matter to them through theatre, music, installations, talks and workshops.
