The producers of the Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR previously announced that, in an unprecedented move, they were canceling the show's Sunday, October 11th performance so that the entire cast could join the National Equality March in Washington, D.C.

On Sunday, October 11th, over 150,000 people descended on the nation's capital to support equal rights for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered communities. Numerous Broadway celebrities were part of this effort, adding their voices to the cause that had approximately 1,400 people under the Broadway Impact banner alone.

'True Colors Cabaret,' a new monthly cabaret show, hit Feinstein's at the Loews Regency, 'the nightclub of New York,' on, Monday, September 28. The next show will be Monday, October 26, featuring Lauper and HAIR star Gavin Creel. All of the net proceeds from 'True Colors Cabaret' support the True Colors Fund and Broadway Impact.

On Many April 20th MGC Productions presented Broadway Speaks OUT Live at The Duplex. The evening was hosted by MGC Productions founding artistic director, Martin Gould Cummings. Performances were given by Marissa Perry (Hairspray), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Hair), Donell James Foreman (Mamma Mia Tour), Justin Stoney (The Yeats Project), Lauren Elder (Hair), Adriana Devine Figliola, Elliot Roth and Jenn Lederer (Midtwenties:The Show).

Gavin Creel Guests at 'BROADWAY SPEAKS OUT' Event at Duplex 4/20

MGC Productions has announced that Gavin Creel has joined the Broadway Speaks OUT concert tonight, April 20th. Broadway Impact, headed by Tony nominee Gavin Creel, Rory O'Malley, Scott Duquette, and Jenny Kanelos will be represented at the concert.

MGC Productions is pleased to announce that Broadway Speaks OUT will be coming back to The Duplex on Monday April 20th for an all star concert. The evening will feature Marissa Perry (Hairspray), Jay A. Johnson (Hair, Chorus Line Tour) Donell James Foreman (Mamma Mia Tour), Anthony Hollock (Hair), Lauren Elder (Hair), and Justin Stoney. The concert will be hosted by Martin Gould Cummings.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Millburn, NJ) opened Happy Days: A New Musical, on Sunday September 30 at 7:30PM. Based on the hit Paramount Pictures television series, Happy Days is created by Garry Marshall who also wrote the book, with music and lyrics by Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe-winning Hall of Fame songwriter Paul Williams. Directed by Paper Mill favorite Gordon Greenberg, this musical comedy will run at the Millburn Theatre through October 28.
