SILENCE! The Musical will end its-month run Sunday evening, December 30th at the Elektra Theatre. The production will have played a total of 447 performances and eight previews. Originally announced as a strictly limited engagement through August 13, 2011, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square, which was constructed especially for the show. SILENCE! opened at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews and spawned a highly successful L.A. production starring Davis Gaines and Christine Lakin.

William Inge's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Picnic returns to Broadway in a striking new production helmed by acclaimed director Sam Gold (Roundabout's Look Back in Anger, Seminar). Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn stars alongside theatre veterans Reed Birney (The Dream of the Burning Boy) and Elizabeth Marvel (Other Desert Cities), rising stars Maggie Grace ('Lost') and Sebastian Stan ('Gossip Girl'), Emmy Award winner Mare Winningham (recently seen in Tribes), Madeleine Martin (August: Osage County) and Ben Rappaport (Hope Springs).

Resonance Ensemble has announced the cast for their 10th anniversary season "Connecting Circuits" featuring two shows in rep, a classic play and new play with resonating themes. This season includes the classic 1920 play R.U.R. by Karel ?apek, adapted by Lee Eric Shackleford, directed by Valentina Fratti in rep with THE TRUTH QUOTIENT, by award-winning playwright Richard Manley, directed By Eric Parness. The season will run from January 9 - February 2, 2013 at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42 Street).

Roundabout Theatre Company will present of Picnic, starring Reed Birney as "Howard Bevans", Maggie Grace as "Madge Owens", Elizabeth Marvel as "Rosemary Sydney", Sebastian Stan as "Hal Carter", Mare Winningham as "Flo Owens" and Ellen Burstyn as "Helen Potts". This production will be directed by Sam Gold. The cast will also feature Madeleine Martin (Millie Owens), Ben Rappaport (Alan Seymour), Cassie Beck (Christine Schoenwalde), Maddie Corman (Irma Kronkite), Chris Perfetti (Bomber). Picnic will begin previews on December 14, 2012 and open officially on January 13, 2013 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42 nd Street). Sam Rogers will be the new Dream Hannibal in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical beginning tomorrow, November 21st at the new Elektra Theatre in Times Square.

A staged reading of They Promised Her the Moon will be presented Monday, December 3rd at 4pm, directed by Valentina Fratti. They Promised Her the Moon is based on the true story of Geraldyn 'Jerrie' Cobb, the first woman to be tested for space flight. Along with twelve other women, Cobb went through the rigors of physical and mental testing only to be told that women would not be considered for NASA's astronaut training program.
