The legendary Broadway star, actress/singer Betty Buckley will offer a special Summer Workshop of Song Interpretation and Scene Study beginning September 7. The Fort Worth native will assist aspiring artists, educators and experienced performers in the craft of singing, acting and storytelling.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine, and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continues its star-studded Fall 2011 season with the return engagement of Tony Award winning singer and actress BETTY BUCKLEY. In an exclusive four week run of the new show 'Ah Men! The Boys of Broadway,' Buckley will perform men's songs from Broadway shows that she has always wanted to sing, including numbers from Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Pippin, Mame and La Cage Aux Folles. She will be joined by Christian Jacob on piano, Peter Barshay on bass and Anthony Pinciotti on drums. The show will run October 4 to 29 at Feinstein's at Loews Regency (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

IN THE HEIGHTS, a Broadway musical that presents a portrait of the Hispanic community in Washington Heights, Manhattan, runs at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza in Makati City until Sunday, September 18.

Original Avenue Q cast member Jennifer Barnhart will play the title role in THE LEGEND OF JULIE TAYMOR, or The Musical That Killed Everybody! which will get its world premiere this August at FringeNYC, playing the Bleecker Theatre. The musical by Travis Ferguson (book & lyrics) and Dave Ogrin (music & lyrics) tells the story of the rise and fall of Director Julie Taymor and the behind-the-scenes scandals of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark which has since become a modern Broadway legend.
