Juilliard's Drama Division announces the 2013-2014 season of fully-staged productions featuring Juilliard's 43rd group of acting students in their fourth and final year in the drama program at Juilliard. This season's plays include Jeffrey Hatcher's Smash, directed by Victor Pappas; Amy Herzog's The Great God Pan, directed by Maria Mileaf; and Sam Shepard's Buried Child, directed by Daniel Fish. All performances take place in the Stephanie P. McClelland Drama Theater at Juilliard.

The new Broadway musical Soul Doctor, about the life and music of Shlomo Carlebach and his unlikely friendship with Nina Simone, has announced its general rush ticket policy for all performances beginning with the first preview on Wednesday, July 17 at 8pm at Circle in the Square Theatre (1600 Broadway, entrance on 40th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue). The limited number of $30 general rush tickets will be available each day at the box office beginning at10am for that day's performance(s) only. Internationally recognized for its adventurous opera and classical music programming, Spoleto Festival USA offers an eclectic program of music and opera for its 37th season.
