As if having the premier Neil Diamond tribute band at the Alhambra Theatre & Dining isn't enough, it was announced this morning by Managing Partner, Craig Smith that the Saturday evening and matinee shows on May 9 will be filmed live by an international film crew making a documentary about the popularity of tribute bands. The Historic Eagle Theatre, a non-profit organization, is located at
208 Vine Street in Downtown Hammonton. It was originally constructed in 1914 for the showing of silent motion pictures. The theatre closed in 1927. This June, renovations were completed, through donations and private funds, and the theatre has been reborn as the premier center for motion pictures and the arts in South Jersey.
