Bristol Riverside Theatre celebrates its 30th Anniversary with a classic, a murder mystery, two musicals, and a heartfelt comedic family tale.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will open its 48th consecutive summer season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's masterpiece CAROUSEL from June 9-19, 2016. 

Contra Costa Civic Theatre (CCCT) today announced its 57th season, which features the diamond anniversary production of a true theatrical gem, a Pulitzer Prize-winning American classic, an East Bay premiere, and one of the most joyous musicals of the past decade.

A benefit concert featuring the original Tony-nominated stars of the recent Broadway production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA -- Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana and Victoria Clark -- and an evening of new work focusing on the award-winning, rising musical theatre writer Adam Gwon are among the highlights of Bucks County Playhouse's Oscar Hammerstein Festival, today, April 29, through May 1.

BroadwayWorld is excited to report that full casting is set for Bucks County Playhouse's star-studded revival of Robert Harling's saucy Southern comedy STEEL MAGNOLIAS, directed by four-time Oscar nominee Marsha Mason. The announcement was made today by producers Robyn Goodman, Alexander Fraser, Josh Fiedler, and Stephen Kocis.

It has just been confirmed that Kaufman's daughter Anne will attend and chat about the history of the show after the reading.

The 2016 Clay & Wattles Theater Company opens with the Tony-award winning play 'Act One,' by James Lapine, presented for the first time in Connecticut. The inspirational story is based on the autobiography of the same name by the American theater icon, Moss Hart.

Bucks County Playhouse welcomes 'Vocalosity' September 23 - October 2, an all-new live concert event from the creative mind of artistic producer Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect, The Sing-Off) that takes a cappella to a whole new level! This appearance at Bucks County Playhouse marks the re-launching of the show's North American tour.

A Panel of four Broadway veterans and experts will adjudicate the best middle and high school student performances from the region as part of the at Bucks County Playhouse's 48th annual "Best of Fest," Student Theatre Festival on May 15 at 7:00pm.

Portland's Good Theater is closing, what has been a highly adventurous and challenging fourteenth season, with a triumphant production of Act One, James Lapine's play based on the autobiography of Moss Hart. This nostalgic, subtly comic, and warmly touching work tells the story of a young Hart, learning to navigate the complex currents of writing a Broadway show in the 1930s. Told by two narrators, Lapine's play brings to life not only the Hart-George S. Kaufmann partnership, but a host of other colorful historical characters who helped to shape this golden age of the stage.

Good Theater the professional theater company in residence at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland will close its 14th season with the regional theater premiere of ACT ONE by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart. Laurel Casillo made her Broadway debut in Act One in 2014. Since then she has starred in two Good Theater productions:  The Rainmaker as Lizzie in the fall of 2014, and as Marina Oswald in the world premiere of Mama's Boy this past fall in 2015.
