The full cast for the London premiere of the smash hit musical ELF has been announced. The company is led by Ben Forster as Buddy, Kimberley Walsh as Jovie, Joe McGann as Walter Hobbs and Jessica Martin as Emily Hobbs, with Jennie Dale as Deb, Mark McKerracher as Santa and Graham Lappin as Store Manager. Also in the cast are Katie Bradley, Charlie Bull, Nicola Coates, Alex Fobbester, Anton Fosh, Charlotte Gale, Francis Haugen, Matt Holland, Tash Holway, Paul Hutton, Mark Iles, Ceili O'Connor, Debbie Paul, Joanna Rennie, Barnaby Thompson and Ed White. 54 Below just welcomed SHANKTUNES- an evening of original songs by Drama Desk-nominated orchestrator/arranger Lynne Shankel. Lynne was joined onstage by some of New York's finest talent for a fun-filled evening of her blend of pop, R&B, swing and musical theatre. ShankTunes featured songs from the recent Off-Broadway production of bare, as well as premieres of brand new songs. The evening was directed by Stafford Arima.

For the first the ASCAP New Musical Theatre Workshop was held outside of New York and Los Angles. The Lied Center in Lincoln, Ne and on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln held the workshop in September.
Paper Mill Playhouse hosted the 18th Annual Rising Star Awards - Presented by the Investors Foundation -tonight, June 4th at the Millburn Theater. Schools nominated for Outstanding Overall Production and Leading Actor/Actress nominees performed at the event and award recipients were presented with a crystal award from Tiffany & Co. Summit High School came out on top, winning Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical. A total of 31 awards were presented along with five scholarships and other cash prizes.
