WRONGFUL DEATH AND OTHER CIRCUS ACTS Premieres in Miami

Zoetic Stage (@ZoeticStageMIA) and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (@ArshtCenter) are proud to present the world premiere of WRONGFUL DEATH AND OTHER CIRCUS ACTS, a dark comedy by Carbonell and Silver Palm Award-winning local playwright, Christopher Demos-Brown. Playing January 18 February 4, 2018 in the intimate Carnival Studio Theater (Ziff Ballet Opera House), WRONGFUL DEATH AND OTHER CIRCUS ACTS continues Zoetic Stage's 2017-2018 season at the Arsht Center as part of the Center's Theater Up Close Series.

Barrington Stage Company Launches National New Play Contest; Deadline This April!

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, announced today the creation of The Bonnie and Terry Burman New Play Award, a national new play contest. The Grand Prize winner will receive $25,000 from Barrington Stage Company. Submissions are being accepted now through April 30, 2018.

Florida Rep Seeks Submissions for 2018 PlayLab Festival Of New Works

Florida Repertory Theatre, an Associate Member of the National New Play Network, is seeking submissions for its 2018 PlayLab Festival slated for May 3 6. The fifth annual festival is an intensive weekend of rehearsals, readings, talkbacks, and development that brings professional playwrights, directors, and actors together to hone up to six new plays in a laboratory setting.
