Barrow Street Theatre and Jean Doumanian Productions launch a summer music series at the Barrow Street Theatre with a concert of new music by acclaimed composer Todd Almond. Todd Almond: Wyoming and Parts of Kansas, is a travelogue-in-song event inspired by the songwriter's journey across the American plains. Special Guest Maria Dizzia (In The Next Room or the vibrator play, Drunken City) and musicians will join Almond in this one-of-a-kind musical story telling event for one-night only on Monday, May 9th at 8:00 p.m. at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). Running time is 85 minutes.

The two-person cast will feature Tony nominee Maria Dizzia (In The Next Room, or The Vibrator Play; The Drunken City) and Greg Keller (33 Variations in Los Angeles, The Seagull at CSC).
Maria Dizzia (In the Next Room or the Vibrator Play, Rachel Getting Married) will join Craig Lucas (Light in the Piazza, Reckless, Prelude To A Kiss) in AliveWire Theatrics' reading of Chana Porter's Leap And The Net Will Appear. Lucas will direct the reading, which takes place this evening at 7pm at the 9th Space theater, located at 150 1st Avenue (home of Performance Space 122) in NYC. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater announced today that due to ticket demand, its production of The Hallway Trilogy, by Adam Rapp, will play three (3) additional performances of each part of the trilogy. Previews began Tuesday, February 8th and each part opened in consecutive order on Tuesday, February 22nd, Wednesday, February 23rd, and Thursday, February 24th. Originally scheduled to run through Sunday, March 20th, the shows will now play through Sunday, March 27th.
