The Casting Society of America (CSA) has selected its presenters for the 30th Annual Artios Awards, taking place in Los Angeles and New York City on January 22, 2015 during the height of awards season. The Los Angeles ceremony will be hosted by Patton Oswalt and will be located at The Beverly Hilton. The New York City ceremony will be hosted by Michael Urie and will be located at 42WEST (formerly XL Nightclub) Cabaret & Lounge (512 West 42nd Street).

Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections, as well as the selections for a new Special Events section and participants for two panels, at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Bright Star, a new American musical featuring music by Edie Brickell and Steve Martin, lyrics by Brickell, and book by Martin, based on an original story by Martin and Brickell. Directed by Walter Bobbie, Bright Star will run September 13 - November 2, 2014 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
