The behind-the-scenes HAMILTON book has now set a release date for April 12, 2016 with the option to preorder now available. It will be available in both hardcover and ebook format.

Ars Nova presents THE ARS NOVA REVOLUTION, celebrating Ars Nova All Stars Jill Furman, Thomas Kail and Lin-Manuel Miranda, from Freestyle Love Supreme (Ars Nova, 2004) to HAMILTON (Broadway, 2015). This epic night of revelry benefiting Ars Nova's artist community, featuring performances by cast members of Hamilton and Freestyle Love Supreme, was held just last night at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street). Lin-Manuel Miranda, the playwright, lyricist, composer, and star of the groundbreaking hit musical Hamilton will be honored with a Special Achievement Award from the Board of one of the nation's most prestigious literary honors, the George Washington Book Prize. The special award and accompanying prize of $50,000 will be presented to Miranda at a ceremony in New York City on December 14, 2015.

On October 2, Wesleyan University will host a sold-out benefit performance of the much celebrated musical Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Alumni Lin-Manuel Miranda '02, Hamilton star and creator of the book, music, and lyrics, and director Thomas Kail '99, are giving back to the university that helped launch their theater careers. The two previously collaborated on the hit musical In the Heights, of which Miranda wrote early versions while a student at Wesleyan.

We've all been eagerly watching each of the twice-weekly #Ham4Ham shows, that Lin-Manuel Miranda has been putting on before the lottery on two show days for the hordes of fans who have been turning out. Today's special guest? Steven Pasquale.

The Jewish Channel will launch its second season of its popular theater-oriented monthly TV show, ROW J, beginning on Monday, September 21. ROW J is hosted by TJC correspondent Meredith Ganzman. The executive producer is Brian Scott Lipton.

HAMILTON is the biggest hit that Broadway has seen in a while, and in a recent Deadline article, Jeremy Gerard investigates the money that got the show on its feet at the Public Theater, and the money that the production has brought in since Broadway performances began. Gerard writes:

The Jewish Channel will launch its second season of its popular theater-oriented monthly TV show, "Row J," beginning on Monday, September 21. Row J" is hosted by TJC correspondent Meredith Ganzman. The executive producer is Brian Scott Lipton. Each episode of "Row J" focuses on Broadway and off-Broadway shows, highlighting Jewish themes, actors, writers, and directors. Theater personalities discuss their current projects and careers, alongside reviews of new shows, on-location features with theater community notables, and other special segments.

The rumors were true! As previously reported, Sir Cameron Mackintosh (producer of OLIVER!, LES MISERABLES, PHANTOM, MARY POPPINS, MISS SAIGON and CATS) plans to bring Broadway's box-office blockbuster HAMILTON to the West End in 2017. The Daily Mail now writes that Mackintosh is touring West End venues with producers Jeffrey Seller and Oskar Eustis next month, including WAR HORSE's current home at the New London through March 12, 2016.
