The most honored show in Broadway history, the MEL BROOKS musical comedy THE PRODUCERS, at Paris Las Vegas announces today that during previews, locals can purchase tickets for $60 (including taxes and service charges) with valid Nevada ID. Previews begin January 31, 2007 and run for one week.

Mel Brooks's The Producers closes at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane after playing its final performance on 6th January, after its run of more than two years. Performances at the London venue began back in October 2004, with the production winning the 2005 Laurence Olivier awards for Best New Musical and Best Actor in a Musical (Nathan Lane) along with nominations for Best Actress in a Musical (Leigh Zimmerman), Best Actor in a Musical (Lee Evans), Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical (Conleth Hill), Best Director (Susan Stroman) and Best Theatre Choreographer (Susan Stroman).

The smash Broadway phenomenon 'The Producers' will play its last performance at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on January 6, ending a run that began on November 9, 2004. Its UK life will not end, however, as it opens in Manchester on February 18 for a 3 month run.
