The York Theatre Company and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present a staged reading of the new musical, Moonshine and Mistletoe, with concept, book and direction by DJ Salisbury, additional songs by David Lutken and Mr. Salisbury, and concept and arrangements by Larry Moore for one performance only on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Raising the bar ever higher, Celia Berk (who in the past year has won “Best Debut” Awards from BroadwayWorld and MAC and received a Bistro Award) celebrated the release of her new CD Manhattan Serenade with the first of four shows at The Metropolitan Room on Sunday night (others are April 10, 17, and 24). Her dream band, helmed by MD/arranger/pianist Alex Rybeck, featured Jered Egan on bass, Dan Gross on percussion, and Dan Willis with his invaluable woodwinds.

Kim Maresca garnered rave reviews this season with her Off-Broadway debut in RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL. By popular demand, Kim returned to Feinstein's/54 Below with a dazzling encore engagement last Thursday night, March 17th. It may be St. Patrick's Day, but there's nothing green about this stunning lass who exploded onto the New York theatre scene this season with her starring debut as Judy Denmark in the Off-Broadway smash RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL. Kim Maresca's special encore appearance at Feinstein's/54 Below will be an intimate evening of songs that make her giddy, songs that make her dream…and songs that scare the sh*t out of her!

Once in a great while, an electric talent explodes onto New York's musical theatre scene, earning unanimous accolades from audiences and critics. This season, lightning hit with the debut of Kim Maresca in the leading role of Judy Denmark in Off-Broadway's RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL. On November 17th, Kim took her act on the road, eight blocks north of RUTHLESS! to be exact, to make her Feinstein's/54 Below debut. KIM MARESCA: THE NEXT STAGE proved to be a triumphant sold-out musical evening, with a portion of the proceeds donated to Broadway Dreams. One of the highlights of the event was a surprise appearance by Broadway star Kelli Rabke who joined Kim onstage for a showstopping duet.
