Krista Knowles  Powerhouse musical theatre performer, Tay Anderson, will take the cabaret stage at The Winter Park Playhouse to premiere her latest solo cabaret, I Was Here, in the theatre's Spotlight Cabaret Series July 18 and 19. TADA! Youth Theater will present Golly Gee Whiz! this summer. A tribute to the classic Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland film musicals of the 1930s and 40s, Golly Gee Whiz! takes place in an American town, Happyville, during the Great Depression. Happyville's residents are unmotivated and bored. Eager to make a change, a group of local children band together with the help of Mickey and Judy to put on a great show and re-establish Happyville as the bustling, optimistic town that it once was. Golly Gee Whiz! is a musical about the power and influence that young children can have even in times of hardship.

For its 22nd consecutive year, the west coast Actors Fund celebrated Broadway's Biggest Night at their 22nd Annual Tony Awards® Viewing Party on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA. This year's gala honored Tony-nominated book writer ('Wicked') and Emmy-nominated writer and producer ('My So Called Life') Winnie Holzman with the Julie Harris Award for Artistic Achievement. Kirsten Vangsness hosted with special appearances by Shoshana Bean, Wilson Cruz, Paul Dooley and Jessica Marie Garcia. THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - will present THE SHAPIRO SISTERS, starring Milly Shapiro and Abigail Shapiro, on Today, June 15 at 9:30 PM. Tony Award winner and Grammy Award nominee Milly Shapiro (A24's Hereditary, Broadway's Matilda) and Abigail Shapiro (How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Liberty: A Monumental New Musical) team up again in "The Shapiro Sisters: The Journey Continues," following their smashingly successful cabaret series at 54 Below, along with the release of their album, Shapiro Sisters: Live Out Loud. The sisters sing their way through the struggles and triumphs of being teenagers trying to make it on Broadway and the big screen. With showtune hits from A Little Princess to Spring Awakening to Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand favorites, Milly and Abigail deliver a show that packs a punch.

This morning, Radar 'exclusively' reported, 'Renee Zellweger and Liza Minnelli have taken a genuine liking to each other, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively, now that Zellweger is playing her mom in the upcoming Judy Garland biopic.' Only a few hours later, Minelli, the daughter of the famed Judy Garland herself, took to Facebook to clear things up.

Ryan McCartan (recent Fox remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Disney Channel's Liv and Maddie, Off-Broadway's Heathers: The Musical) will head the cast of a fun and furry musical tale for animal lovers of all ages. The world premiere of Mutt House will play at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City from July 15 through Aug. 5. Previews begin July 10.
