The RENT 20th Anniversary Tour, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning landmark rock musical written by Jonathan Larson, will be led by Danny Kornfeld as 'Mark Cohen,' Kaleb Wells as 'Roger Davis,' Skyler Volpe as 'Mimi Marquez,' AaRon Harrington as 'Tom Collins,' David Merino as 'Angel Dumott Schunard,' Katie LaMark as 'Maureen Johnson,' Jasmine Easler as 'Joanne Jefferson, and Christian Thompson as 'Benny Coffin III.'

The producers of the RENT 20th Anniversary Tour, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning landmark rock musical written by Jonathan Larson, have announced casting for the upcoming National Tour.

Jasmine Easler and Antonio LeRoy King have been chosen as the 2016 recipients of The Actors' Equity Foundation's Roger Sturtevant Award. The Roger Sturtevant Award is given annually to one male and one female Equity Membership Candidate (EMC) who have each demonstrated outstanding talent and skill in musical theatre. The recipients are chosen based on an application, recommendation letters, and a video audition that are then evaluated by a panel of Foundation members and CSA Casting Directors.

The Human Race completes its 28th season of producing professional theatre for the Miami Valley with actress/playwright Regina Taylor's hit Crowns. The Human Race Theatre Company's production runs tonight, June 11, through June 28, 2015 at The Loft Theatre. It is co-directed by Dayton Contemporary Dance Company Artistic Director Debbie Blunden-Diggs, who also serves as choreographer, and Human Race Theatre Founding Resident Artist Scott Stoney. There she finds healing in the personal stories of the ladies of the congregation and the hats that adorn their heads. Through time and space, their intimate histories create a soulful, joyous triumph of song, dance, culture and glorious 'hattitude' in this powerhouse gospel musical like no other.
