The National Tour of THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS, winner of the 2012 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival, ends on a high note grossing $1,030,014 for the week closing July 20, 2014, making it the highest-grossing week on the tour. More than 15,000 people attended the show in Charlotte.

In an evening, conceived and directed by Tony Award winner Scott Wittman, LuPone will perform an eclectic collection of torch songs by songwriters including Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn,Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter. Don Heckman of The Los Angeles Times described the show as 'a beautifully paced, marvelously delivered torch-song exploration of the pleasures and pains of love; LuPone's remarkable, larger-than-life qualities and stunning musicality are distilled into the pure essence of her art.' Jughead Theatricals brings Sing, Sing, Sing to the stage of the Heartland Forum in Crown Center. Diane Bulan produces Sing, Sing, Sing in conjunction with the KC Fringe Festival. The Heartland Forum is located in the space once occupied by the American Heartland Theatre.

Announced today at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, the 2014 PBS Arts Fall Festival returns in September with 11 weekly programs featuring classic Broadway hits, music from around the country and a theater performance by award-winning actor Nathan Lane.

Earlier today it was announced that 54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, has a multi-year agreement with two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone. Twice yearly, LuPone will play two-week engagements at the venue. The agreement, which runs through 2016, launches with the upcoming July 21 - August 2 engagement, 'The Lady with The Torch.'

Michael Feinstein, the incomparable two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy-nominated entertainer joins the Pasadena POPS for one night only to sing a full concert celebrating the musical legacy of George and Ira Gershwin tonight, July 19 at the Los Angeles Arboretum with 'Michael Feinstein SINGS Gershwin.' Feinstein shares both the music of the Gershwins and personal stories from his recent book The Gershwins and Me, which reflects upon his six-year collaboration with Ira Gershwin.

Principal casting has been announced for the upcoming world premiere production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. Theo Ubique's hit summer cabaret, A Musical Tribute to the Andrews Sisters, has added a month of performances in August following the complete sellout of all its July dates.
