A brand new stage tour of Khaled Hosseini's worldwide bestselling novel The Kite Runner will play at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 22 September to 4 October (press night Monday 22 September, 7pm).
Lenny Henry is due to return to the West Midlands to headline Birmingham Repertory Theatre's Autumn and Winter 2014 season. The Dudley-born comedian and actor will star in the stage premiere of Rudy's Rare Records from 4-20 September (press night Tue 9 September), his first role at the theatre.

This autumn Coventry's Belgrade Theatre is producing four new shows, including The Prodigals: A Man Had Two Sons, Charlie Peace: His Amazing Life and Astounding Legend, its annual pantomime, which this year is Jack and the Beanstalk and its new B2 Xmas Show Oh No It Isn't! The theatre is also restaging its Coventry Blitz play One Night in November.
