The new play ROMANCE LANGAUGE receives its New York City premiere this fall at Theater 511 at Ars Nova (511 W 54th St, New York). Written by Joe Godfrey (A Queer Carol) and directed by Carl Andress (Charles Busch's The Tribute Artist and The Divine Sister), ROMANCE LANGUAGE stars Mairin Lee (Broadway's The Heiress), Audrey Heffernan Meyer ('Royal Pains'), and Jared Zirilli (Pretty Filthy). Anneliese van der Pol Departs Sharon Playhouse's LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

Lauren Marcus, recently seen in Two River Theater's world premiere production of Be More Chill, will take over the role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at Sharon Playhouse.  Anneliese van der Pol was unable to continue with the production due to a family emergency.

Sharon Playhouse, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Simpkins and Managing Director Justin Ball, will present the new musical comedy, True Love this weekend, August 6-9 in their Stage 2.

Sharon Playhouse, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Simpkins and Managing Director Justin Ball, has announced initial casting and creative teams for its 2015 Season with the musicals My Fair Lady, Merrily We Roll Along, and Little Shop of Horrors on the Mainstage; Ed Dixon's new play Georgie: The Life and Death of George Rose and True Love on Stage 2 in the Bok Gallery. The Youth Theatre will present the Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher.

Tonye Patano, Afi Bijou & More to Star in Katori Hall's THE BLOOD QUILT at Arena Stage; All-Female Cast Set

Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall returns to Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater with the world premiere of her most personal project to date-the fierce comedy-drama The Blood Quilt. Hall is an inaugural resident playwright of Arena Stage's American Voices New Play Institute, and The Blood Quilt is one of three plays from Hall receiving world premieres around the country this season. Hall reunites with director and Howard University alumna Kamilah Forbes (artistic director of the Hip-Hop Theater Festival) following their Broadway collaboration on The Mountaintop. The Blood Quilt runs April 24-June 7, 2015 in the Kreeger Theater.
