 The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association has announced today the line-up for the 2019 KCRW's World Festival at the Hollywood Bowl. The successful collaboration between KCRW and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association celebrates its 20th anniversary, and launches Sunday, June 16, at 7PM.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic announces its 98th summer season at the Hollywood Bowl. The Hollywood Bowl summer season features world-class artists ranging from classical and pops to jazz, rock, and world music including the world premiere of two new LA Phil-commissioned works plus a fully-staged Broadway musical.

Recording artist Halsey will serve as host and musical guest when “Saturday Night Live” returns on Feb. 9.  

Today, Dallas-based shredder STONE MECCA unleashed the provocative new video for 'Boogeyman,' a track from his recently-released LP Alienman. Mecca told Billboard, who premiered the video this morning, that he is happy to have the song and video become part of the growing dialogue about racism in our society. 'It's right in our faces, man,' he explained. 'We have the internet now and people are exposed to a lot more and they can dig up a lot more, and we have this undercurrent of hypocrisy and racism, and that's a sad thing. Anything I can do in my art to get people to see things a little different or open their eyes is something I'll strive for.'

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT will broadcast live following President Donald Trump's State of the Union address Tuesday, Jan. 29 (11:35 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. This will mark the 19th time THE LATE SHOW has broadcast live. The most recent live broadcast aired election night on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018. Guests joining Colbert for the live broadcast from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York will be announced at a later date.

Whose Hat Is This?, a collaboration of Tedeschi Trucks Band members Tim Lefebvre, Tyler "Falcon" Greenwell, J.J. Dakota Grizzly has announced its inaugural participation in the 2018 LouFest in St. Louis this fall, Sept 8-9. Dakota Grizzly will be found in three major activation areas during the two-day music extravaganza.

More artists have been announced to perform at the Chillin' on the Lucie music festival in Port St. Lucie, Fla., Oct. 3 - 7. Uncle Kracker has joined the roster, as well as Cassadee Pope, Parmalee, Josh Gracin, Clare Dunn, Kalie Shorr, Hudson Moore and Lewis Brice. Twang and Round, Radio Romance, Julia Cole, Honey County, County Wide and Libby Switzer are also set to perform. Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit School of Rock - The Musical, announced today that the show will play its final Broadway performance at the Winter Garden Theatre on January 20, 2019. By that date, the show will have run for more than 3 years, playing 1,307 performances and 31 previews. The production recouped its entire Broadway investment in May of 2017.

NBC Sports Group has selected vocal powerhouse and multi-instrumentalist ZZ Ward to record an all-new show open and theme song for the 2018 NASCAR on NBC season. Set to Tom Petty's hit song "Runnin' Down a Dream," the new show open kicks off NBC Sports' fourth season of Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series coverage this Sunday, July 1 at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, live from Chicagoland Speedway.

Austin's very own 'One Man Funk Band' Henry + The Invisibles (Henry Roland) has independently released his entirely instrumental beat tape 'Beatz The Heat.' You can stream the tape on Spotify and Apple Music  as well as here. Inspired by Beat Scene producers like J Dilla and Madlib, 'Beatz the Heat' contains 14 brand new funk and soul-filled tracks that pair perfectly with the summer vibes; whether at the beach, the pool or on a bike ride down the boardwalk, this tape will be the idyllic summer sound to groove to. Henry single-handedly produced, edited and performed live instruments on the tape. There will be an official CD release party on Tuesday, June 26 at One-2-One Bar, located at 1509 S.
