The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has announced the full casting for the return of The Second City's irreverent and interactive seasonal satire, Twist Your Dickens. Second City alumni Carisa Barreca and Paul Jurewicz and local favorite Eric M. Messner join returning cast members Aaron Bliden, Anne Bowles, John Lescault, and Tia Shearer.

Celebrating the life and music of Nina Simone, one of America's most iconic singers and civil rights activists, Christina Ham's provocative musical journey Nina Simone: Four Women makes its East Coast debut at Arena Stage. Set in the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, in which four little girls lost their lives in 1963, Ham uses Simone's song 'Four Women' as the framework to explore the songstress' shift from artist to artist-activist.

Lantern Theater Company continues its 24th season with a world premiere production of The Craftsman by celebrated Philadelphia playwright Bruce Graham. Commissioned and developed through the Lantern's New Works Initiative, Graham's new play spins a darkly ironic tale of ambition, genius, and deception. M. Craig Getting will direct a cast that includes Mary Lee Bednarek, Dan Hodge, Anthony Lawton, Brian McCann, Paul L. Nolan, and Ian Merrill Peakes. The Women's Voices Theater Festival, in partnership with National New Play Network (NNPN) and New Play Exchange (NPX), invites theaters around the world to join them in advocating for gender parity by presenting un-produced works by women playwrights on International Women's Voices Day.

Not only does Kimberly give a superb performance as Linda Loman in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, she does so with Craig Wallace as Willy Loman. Wallece is her partner in life as well as onstage. Her once-in-a-lifetime performance can be seen through October 22nd.
