The 2009 Theatre Hall of Fame inductees have been revealed and include such icons as actors Jim Dale, John McMartin and Lynn Redgrave; producers Roger Berlind and Ted Mann; composers Stephen Schwartz and Andrew Lloyd Webber; and, posthumously, the late playwright/actor Charles Ludlum. The Annual Theatre Hall of Fame ceremony, now in its 39th year, will be held Jan. 25, 2010, in the Gershwin Theatre's North Rotunda. Terry Hodge Taylor is producing the event.

A limited number of $30 tickets will be made available for purchase by students, available at the box office on the day of the performance only. Two tickets per valid student ID. The anticipated Broadway arrival of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts new production of Terrence McNally, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Tony Award® winning musical RAGTIME, based on the E.L. Doctorow novel and featuring direction and choreography by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, revealed its poster art. The dynamic work is designed by acclaimed Italian illustrator Lorenzo Petrantoni.

The first Broadway revivals of BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS and BROADWAY BOUND, two of Simon's beloved semi-autobiographical 'Eugene Jerome' plays will be directed by David Cromer (Our Town) and will play the beautifully restored Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). Rehearsals began in New York on Monday, August 24th and the cast and creative team took a moment to meet and greet the press.
