According to published reports, Broadway veteran Darlene Love suffered a heart attack last weekend before a performance at Tim McLoone's in Asbury Park, New Jersey. After experiencing stomach pains, the singer took asprin to make it through her performance. It wasn't until the following day when she was taken to the hospital that she learned that she had a heart attack.
Love is currently recovering.

The Emmy award winning song (Won't You) Join Our Parade was performed by Stage Door Manor and written by composer, Doug Katsaros and lyricist, William Schermerhorn.

The 27th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place Saturday, April 14 in Cleveland and debuts tonight, May 5 (9:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO. In addition, HBO Signature will present a 24-hour marathon of the HBO special, beginning at midnight that same day, and concluding Sunday, May 6 at midnight.

Big Noise Theatre Company closes its 2011-12 season with the musical biography, LEADER OF THE PACK: THE ELLIE GREENWICH MUSICAL, opening tonight April 27 and playing weekends through May 13, 2012. Performances will be held at the Prairie Lake Theatre in Des Plaines, IL. The company is celebrating its 10th year of bringing live entertainment to the venue. LEADER OF THE PACK is directed by Nancy Flaster, with choreography by Flaster and Ann Fink, the team who brought the smash hit BEEHIVE to Prairie Lakes audiences in 2009.
