The world premiere of 17 Orchard Point, a new play starring Tony Award-winner Michele Pawk, will begin performances on Friday, April 25 for a limited four-week Off-Broadway run at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues) through May 24. Written by Anton Dudley (Substitution, Getting Home) & Stephanie DiMaggio, and directed by Stella Powell-Jones, 17 Orchard Point will have its official opening night on Sunday, May 4 at 7pm. Colt Coeur's Play Hotel reading series will present a free staged reading of She Rode Horses Like the Stock Exchange by Amelia Roper, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, January 28th at 7pm at SoHo House in Manhattan. The cast for the reading includes McCaleb Burnett (Scarcity, Rattlestick), Katya Campbell (How to Make Friends and then Kill Them, Rattlestick), Zuzanna Szadkowski ('Gossip Girl'), and Matt Stadelmann (The Grown-Up, Humana). The event is hosted by Sam Goldberg and Julia Jones.

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel series presents staged readings of a boy put this girl in a cage with a dog and the dog killed the girl by Clare Barron, directed by Stella Powell-Jones & Umma Lappa Soon by Claire Kiechel, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt. Today, October 28th, 6pm (Barron play) & 8pm (Kiechel play). Guests are welcome to attend one or both readings. There will be a reception between readings. Bernie B. BRENDA, a supernatural road-trip play written by EST Youngblood member and Yale graduate Cory Finley, will receive its world premiere in the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival. Performances begin August 13 at the Robert Moss Theater at 440 Studios.

The 3-year old company, helmed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, has used Kickstarter twice before to raise funds for the world premieres of Lucas Kavner's Fish Eye (New York Magazine championed as one of the year's best)and Eliza Clark's RECALL, as well as their play-making intensive offered free-of-charge to NYC teens. Despite being rich in talent, no one in the company 'comes from money' or has access to major donors who can write big checks. Instead, with funding goals ranging from 12k to 18k, roughly over 200 distinct donors have contributed an average of $100.

The Exchange's Artistic Director, Ari Edelson, has announced the artists and companies who participating in the 2013 Orchard Project Summer Residencies. An unprecedented twenty-one companies, teams, and individual artists have been selected from hundreds of applicants to develop new work at The Exchange's Orchard Project. The Orchard Project (Ari Edelson, Artistic Director, Dean Strober, Executive Director) runs now through June 29, 2013 in New York's Catskill Mountain Preserve.

Dorset Theatre Festival will start off their 2013 Season with the biting hit comedy The Scene by Theresa Rebeck. Theresa Rebeck, a DTF Writer in Residence, is well known for her recent Broadway hits - Seminar starring Alan Rickman and Dead Accounts starring Katie Holmes - as well has her popular NBC Series Smash.

Directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Recall, Fish Eye, Seven Minutes in Heaven), the cast includes Matt Stadelmann, Katya Campbell (The Big Knife, Broadway), Adam Harrington (HIT-LIT, Queens Theater), Sue Jean Kim (Water By the Spoonful, 2nd Stage), Hubert Point-Dujour (A Map of Virtue, 13P) and Kate Cullen Roberts (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Broadway).

Julia Jones, Erica Rotstein and Aaron Schildkrout will host Colt Coeur's Spring Benefitreunion reading of their inaugural world-premiere production. Under the direction of Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Recall, Colt Coeur) original cast members Teddy Bergman (Peter and the Starcatcher, Broadway), Erin Felgar (Billy Witch, Studio 42), Kate Cullen Roberts (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Broadway), Matt Stadelmann (American Sligo, Rattlestick), and Joe Tippett (Fish Eye, Colt Coeur) will be joined by two-time TONY nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher, Broadway) in the play that critics called "wildly charming," "pitch-perfect" and "Pinter meets My So-Called Life" when it premiered in 2010.
