THE ROAD THEATRE COMPANY has announced its return to live performances with three plays performing in repertory. THE PLAY YOU WANT, written by Bernardo Cubria and directed by Michael John Garcés, will begin previews on Tuesday, February 8; will open on Friday, February 11 at 8pm and run through Sunday, March 27.

The documentary features Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, Susie Essman, David Letterman, Sarah Silverman, Norman Lear, Cheryl Hines, Jimmy Kimmel, Steve Martin, Patton Oswalt, Rob Reiner, JB Smoove, and more. Watch the new trailer now!

The documentary is a celebration of the life and work of the actor, filmmaker, wife and mother Adrienne Shelly. Shelly starred in over twenty films including Hal Hartley’s indie classics “The Unbelievable Truth” and “Trust.” Shelly strove to tell her own female-centric stories and wrote and directed several movies including, “Waitress.”

The comedy series continues to prove how seemingly trivial details of one's day-to-day life – a cold cup of coffee, a stained shirt, a missing toothbrush – can precipitate a catastrophic chain of events. To keep the narrative spontaneous, the series is shot without a script and cast members are given scene outlines and improvise lines as they go.

The true story of an American band of misfits using establishment rules to challenge establishment rule, Fear and Loathing in Aspen is based on author and activist Hunter S. Thompson's 1970 campaign for Sheriff of Aspen, Colorado, which centered around police reform and environmental justice.
