Cowboy, the story of Bass Reeves, will debut Off-Broadway this December. Reeves made history by being the first black U.S. Deputy Marshall in America.   This is the first full on western to hit a Broadway or Off-Broadway stage in over 80 years.

Strawdog Theatre Company is launching its 35th season with its holiday family favorite Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins, returning for its fifth year. The SoHo Playhouse has awarded Martin Dockery’s two-man play THE STAKEOUT an Off-Broadway run as part of its prestigious International Fringe Encore Series.

The Off-Broadway comedy Two Jews, Talking, by Ed. Weinberger, directed by Dan Wackerman, starring Josh Mostel and Richard Masur will play its final performance at Theatre at St. Clement’s on Sunday, November 27 at 3pm.

Asi Wind's Inner Circle's limited engagement has been extended to February 26, 2023. The show plays at The Judson Theatre (243 Thompson Street) and opened on September 18 for a limited run, originally scheduled to end on January 1.

This past September, Rochester's internationally renowned PUSH Physical Theatre's Generic Male: Just What We Need, Another Show About Men received the International Fringe Encore Series Award from NYC's SoHo Playhouse. The award gives PUSH its first Off-Broadway run during the theatre's 16th prestigious International Fringe Encore Series next month.

A plaque designating the former Caffe Cino, at 31 Cornelia Street, on the National Register of Historic Places as an LGBT site will be unveiled on Wednesday, November 16th, at 2:30pm. The date marks what would have been proprietor Joe Cino's 91st birthday.

The Off Broadway Palm Theatre presents HA! HA! HO! THE HOLIDAY SHOW playing now through December 25, 2022. This all-new musical revue is written by Southwest Florida resident and Broadway Palm favorite Victor Legarreta.

Broadway previews are now underway for Jordan E. Cooper's new comedy, Ain't No Mo', produced by Lee Daniels.

Stand-up comedian and storyteller Gabe Mollica’s off-Broadway debut show ‘SOLO: A Show About Friendship’ has received an extension of its run - new dates are November 17th, 18th and 19th at 9:00pm, in addition to the remaining original run dates of November 9th, 10th and 12th, also at 9:00pm.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… unless you’re a tree, that is. Casting is complete for Charlie O’Leary, Patrick Spencer, and Anthony DeAngelis’ new musical An Axemas Story, which will play Off-Broadway at The Players Theatre December 1st through 18th.

Mint Theater Company is presenting the American premiere of Noël Coward’s The Rat Trap, directed by Alexander Lass. Christmas is always the busiest time of the year at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre.  In addition to the theatre's Mainstage Christmas production, it offers several special events for the holiday season. 

Three-man comedy band Lewberger, featuring Keith Habersberger of the Try Guys, will make their Off–Broadway debut in Spring 2023 with their first-ever musical, THE WIZARD OF FRIENDSHIP running March 1st – March 26th at NYC’s Theatre Row.

The Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots will play its final off-Broadway performance at 7:00PM on Sunday, November 20, 2022 following 32 previews and 102 regular performances.
