Circle X Theatre Co to Present Laurie Metcalf and Jimmi Simpson in TREVOR This Spring

Circle X Theatre Co. is thrilled to announce the West Coast premiere of TREVOR, written by Nick Jones (Writer/Co-Producer 'Orange is the New Black') and directed by Stella Powell-Jones, starring Laurie Metcalf and Jimmi Simpson. TREVOR will preview on Thursday, March 5; Friday, March 6; Saturday, March 7; Thursday, March 12 & Friday, March 13 at 8pm and will open on Saturday, March 14 and run through Sunday, April 19 at Atwater Village Theatre, 3269 Casitas Ave. in Los Angeles, 90039.

Moonlight Stage Productions' 34th summer season comes to a triumphant close with the Southern California Regional Premiere of the Tony Award-nominated musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, based on the hit film of the same name that starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. Performances are tonight, September 10 to 27.

On Saturday night July 26, songwriters / co-creators Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman paid a visit to Wichita to see Music Theatre Wichita's all-new production of "Catch Me If You Can," and had many compliments for director / producer Wayne Bryan, choreographer Linda Goodrich, and all the cast members, including Thom Sesma ("The Times They Are A-Changin'," "Miss Saigon," "Sweeney Todd") as FBI agent Carl Hanratty, and Skyler Adams (Pippin understudy in the upcoming national tour of "Pippin") as Frank Jr. Special praise also went to Broadway veterans David Hess and Paula Leggett Chase as Frank's parents, and to Carolyn Anne Miller as love interest Brenda. Star of KILLER TOMATOES STRIKE BACK to Make Appearance at Movie Screening on 6/29

"When Good Vegetables Go Bad" is the tag line for the third movie in a series of four films on killer tomatoes. The 1991 horror-comedy "B" movie "Killer Tomatoes Strike Back" is scheduled to be screened at the Ware Center, on Sunday, June 29that 7 PM. A special feature of the showing is the film's star Crystal Carson will be in attendance to do a Q&A and meet and greet audience members at a Virgin Bloody Mary Cocktail Reception after the film.
