Desperate Housewives, series creator Marc Cherry spoke to E!Online's Marc Malkin and announced his desire to bring some of the great ladies of the stage and screen to Wisteria Lane in the future.

Melora Hardin, star of the hit NBC comedy 'The Office,' made her Broadway stage debut this winter as fame-hungry murderess Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning smash hit musical CHICAGO. Hardin played a seven-week limited engagement which began Monday, December 29, 2008 at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.). Melora Hardin performed her final show as 'Roxie' on on Thursday, February 12th and BroadwayWorld was there to cheer her on as she 'Razzle Dazzled' the crowd one last time!

TV Guide is reporting that the ABC series 'Desperate Housewives' may extend with two more additional seasons. Marc Cherry, the series creator announced his hope of continuing at an ABC ceremony celebrating the 100th episode.

TV Guide is reporting that actress Lily Tomlin will be joining the ABC series 'Desperate Housewives' this fall. Tomlin will reportedly be playing the recurring role of Mrs. McCluskey's (played Kathryn Joosten) sister.

The Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) Awards were held at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. Among the winners were Alec Baldwin, Ruby Dee, Kevin Kline, Queen Latifah, 'The Sopranos,' 'The Office' and 'No Country for Old Men.'

The nominations for the 14th Annual Screen Actors' Guild Awards were announced on Thursday, December 20 at the Silver Screen Theater, West Hollywood, CA.
