If the celebrated advice columnist was alive today, she would likely advise you to see the Boston-area premiere of The Lady With All The Answers by David Rambo, drawn from the life and letters of Ann Landers herself, with the cooperation of her daughter, Margo Howard.

On May 24, the Lower East Side Tenement Museum will celebrate its 22nd year as a cultural institution with a gala dinner and live auction. The event will honor stage and screen actress Tovah Feldshuh; her husband, Andrew Levy, whose roots extent to a family-run dry goods store on Rivington Street; and chef Pichet Ong, whose cuisine blends the flavors of his native Southeast Asia with traditional American foods.

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is thrilled to present Hot Mikado, book and lyrics adapted by David H. Bell with musical adaptation and arrangements by Rob Bowman. The almost-lost art of presenting live music performed with silent classic films returns to the Mandell Jewish Community Center, West Hartford, on Tuesday March 23, 2010, 7:00 PM when The Hartt School of the University of Hartford and the Mandell JCC Hartford Jewish Film Festival present Hungry Hearts, a nostalgic evening of movies and music.

The Hubbard Street Dance Chicago will end its spring series at the Harris Theatre on March 21st.

A Noise Within (ANW) presents AWAKE AND SING!, an American classic by Clifford Odet, opening Saturday, March 20 and closing Sunday, May 23, 2010 (previews begin Saturday, March 13), directed by Andrew J. Traister. Featuring veteran actor Len Lesser (Jacob), who is well known to contemporary audiences at Seinfeld's 'Uncle Leo' and highly regarded ANW Resident Artists Deborah Strang (Bessie Berger) and Joel Swetow (Myron Berger), the play also features Alan Blumenfeld (Uncle Morty), Molly Leland (Hennie Berger), David Lengel (Sam Feinschreiber), Daniel Reichert (Moe Axelrod), Adam Silver (Ralph Berger) and Alan Waserman (Schlosser).

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC), one of the world's premiere contemporary dance companies, will present a riveting 2010 Spring Series, which will include the World Premiere of Terence Marling's At ‘em (Atem) Adam; a Hubbard Street 2 (HS2) World Premiere performance of First Light set by HSDC's resident choreographer and dancer Alejandro Cerrudo; the Company Premiere of 27'52' by world-renowned choreographer Jirí Kylián; and a revival of Susan Marshall's Kiss. Wilmene Hercule, a fifteen year old sophomore from Prospect Hill Academy Charter School in Cambridge, was named the Massachusetts 2010 Poetry Out Loud State Champion at Boston's Old South Meeting House on Sunday, March 14.

The TCAN Players proudly present Neil Simon's comedy, Jake's Women for six performances March 5-14. The cast (and crew) hails from Natick all the way to Hanover, New Hampshire, and includes a number of newcomers to the firehouse stage.

Local playwright Masha Obolensky's new play Not Enough Air will end its run at the Nora Theatre Company March 14th. Not Enough Air tells the riveting story of two women: one on trial for murder, the other a writer determined to tell her story. Performances of the show began February 11th.
