Bucks County Playhouse has announced that Charles Busch's Tony Nominated play The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, directed by four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines will be the final production of the 2013 Summer season. Performances run from Thursday, August 15th through Sunday, September 1st at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA). The cast will be announced shortly.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long previously announced that Jesse Eisenberg and Vanessa Redgrave will star in the world premiere of Eisenberg's The Revisionist, directed by Kip Fagan, which begins its limited run tonight, February 6 and opens Thursday, February 21 at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street. Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Tony winner Doug Hughes, begins the final 8 performances of its acclaimed limited engagement tonight at 7 PM. When it ends its extended, acclaimed run on Sunday, November 18 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street), the production will have played 59 regular performances and 26 previews.
This weekend, ABC-7 will air a half-hour special on the best of the new Broadway season, including AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, ANNIE, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, CHAPLIN, DEAD ACCOUNTS, THE HEIRESS and THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD. The special will air Saturday, November 10 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
