Joshua Carr Desert Theatricals

Joshua has been involved in all aspects of musical theatre and concerts for 40 years producing, directing, musically directing, conducting, acting and teaching. He is currently the Director of Operations and Musical Director for Desert Theatricals in Rancho Mirage with partner Ray Limon where they produce Broadway Musicals under the stars, Concerts, Cabaret acts and a full youth theatre year-round at the Rancho Mirage Amphitheatre. Prior to this he served as the Producer at the Welk Theatre (9 years) and with LimonCarr Productions (21 years). Other theatres include the Jupiter Theatre in Florida, Portland Musical Theatre, LA Music Center on Tour, Starlight Musical Theatre, Moonlight Amphitheatre, San Bernardino CLO, Music Theatre Southern California, Music Theatre West, Yorba Linda Civic Light Opera, Downey Civic Light Opera, The Poway Center for the Performing Arts, Tustin’s Broadway In The Park (13 years), Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars and many other theatre across the United States.

As musical director/conductor/producer he has mounted over 350 performances and events including Broadway musicals, variety shows, tribute bands and celebrity appearances with Mitzi Gaynor, Debbie Reynolds, Shirley Jones, Rich Little, Hal Linden, Cloris Leachman, Vicki Lawrence, Jo Anne Worley, Rex Smith, Debby Boone, Cathy Rigby and Michael Learned.
