Third & Final Extension Announced for THE STRANGE UNDOING OF PRUDENCIA HART

The McKittrick Hotel and The National Theatre of Scotland announced today that their critically acclaimed production of The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, a transporting, music-filled folk theater fable, created by writer David Greig and director Wils Wilson, has been extended for a third and final time by popular demand. Originally scheduled to close January 29, 2017, the production will now run through Sunday, April 23rd at The McKittrick Hotel (542 West 27th Street). The McKittrick Hotel's bar and music venue, The Heath, has been transformed into a high spiriTEd Scottish Pub for the occasion, a unique and perfect setting for The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, featuring a full Scottish cast from the National Theatre of Scotland: Muireann Bird, George Drennan, Peter Hannah, Jessica Hardwick, and Owen Whitelaw. The creative team includes design by Georgia McGuinness, movement by Janice Parker, and musical direction by Alasdair Macrae.

The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart unfolds among and around its audience, weaving an ingenious, lyrical and enchanting story told with live music throughout its intimate and supernatural setting.

Jonathan Hochwald, Arthur Karpati and Randy Weiner formed Emursive in 2010 to create immersive experiences in extraordinary places. Emursive's first ever production is Sleep No More, Punchdrunk's New York debut at The McKittrick Hotel.
