Due to a scheduling conflict, Logan Marshall-Green has dropped out of the upcoming production of Rag and Bone at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. Replacing him is Matthew Stadelmann, who just finished playing Bobby Bibby in Adam Rapp's critically-acclaimed production of American Sligo. Performances will now begin Tuesday, November 13, 2007.  Opening night is Tuesday, November 20 at 7PM.  The show will run through Sunday, December 16, 2007.

"In Haidle's play, Jeff and George, mourning the death of their mother, struggle to make ends meet at the family ladder store, which George also utilizes as a front for the black market sale of human hearts.  This heartfelt comedy, about the limits of feeling and the consequences of feeling little or too damn much, had its World Premiere at The Long Wharf Theater in 2005," explain press notes.

In addition to Stadelmann, the cast of Rag and Bone includes Michael Chernus (American Sligo, Essential Self Defense), Kevin Jackson (Topdog/Underdog, Fences), Deidre O'Connell (Fugue, Stone Cold Dead Serious), Henry Stram (Inherit the Wind, The Crucible), Audrey Lynn Weston (Rearviewmirror, Work) and David Wohl (Fiddler on the Roof, Dinner at Eight).

The creative team is comprised of Dane Laffrey (sets), Oana Botez-Ban (costumes), Ben Stanton (lights), and Eric Shim (sound).  Christina Lowe is Production Stage Manager and Heather Davidson is Assistant Stage Manager.

Rag and Bone will have the following performance schedule: Wednesday – Saturday at 8PM and Sunday at 5PM. Tickets are $40 and are available through SmartTix (212-868-4444) or www.smarttix.com. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater is located at 224 Waverly Place (off Seventh Avenue South – between West 11th & Perry Streets). www.rattlestick.org
