GRAVEYARD SHIFT, a new musical-action-comedy written and directed by Ren Casey (Save the Goondocks!, winner FringeNYC "Outstanding Ensemble") will be receiving its world premiere at the Minetta Lane Theatre as part of the 13th annual New York International Fringe Festival.
In GRAVEYARD SHIFT, The President of the United States has just informed the nation that a horribly contagious virus is spreading, turning citizens into bloodthirsty zombies. The entire country is in panic mode, but the employees on the graveyard shift at the ValueVille Superstore stay calm as they attempt to survive the night...by locking themselves in. With a pack of hungry zombies outside and some of the employees acting strange, as the graveyard shift ticks on, lives are lost, love is found, blood is shed, and the employees at ValueVille learn first hand how precious life really is.The cast will feature Drama League Award-nominee Patti Allison (Fanny Hill at the York Theatre, Orpheus Descending, and Angel on Broadway), Reed Armstrong, Katherine Fullan, Tonilyn Hornung, David Hussey, Lara Hughes, Jovial Kemp, Connie Jackson (Dreamgirls on Broadway), Nicholas J. Leinbach (Wallenberg at NYMF), Colleen Peterson, Eddie Zamora, and the dancers of Skybetter & Associates.Videos
