CAST
(All actors must sing… limited movement…Hugh must play guitar, and Chad must be able to rap.)
CHAD: Twenty something male, smart, handsome Manager of Wallace Studios. Very likeable… quick wit and confident. Professional and OCD about it.
HUGH BLACKBURN: 50ish… Merle Haggard/Kris Kristofferson type. Has been a huge star and writer but has also lived a hard life. Been to rehab…several times… and jail a couple times. Has 6 ex-wives. Rough around the edges and old school… but a soft heart. Crotchety, for sure! Plays guitar!!!
MELODY: 25 - Pretty, twenty something ‘Taylor Swift wannabe’ artist/songwriter. Very nervous about being there. Social media influencer. Sweet and likeable… but she has also led a hard life at her young age. Chad’s girlfriend.
