JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR with lyrics by Tim Rice & music by Andrew Lloyd Webber is a timeless work. This rock opera is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ's life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.

Casting the following roles:

Jesus of Nazareth - Rock Tenor

Judas Iscariot - Rock Tenor

Mary Magdalene - Mezzo-Soprano

Pontius Pilate - Baritone

King Herod - Bari-Tenor

Caiaphas - Bass Baritone

Peter - Tenor

Simon - Bari-Tenor

Annas - Bari-Tenor Ensemble - All vocal ranges & types needed. Ensemble includes: Apostles, Priests, Soldiers, Lepers,

Merchants, Rioters, Reporters, Soul Girls, etc.

Dance Ensemble - Strong modern/jazz Please note: This production is open to performers of all gender identities and expressions. Casting will

be based on talent & suitability for the role, not gender. All roles are open.

• All actors will be paid a performance stipend. Rate is based on casting.

• Actors traveling from outside Staten Island will receive a Travel Allowance.

• Actors are required to provide their own performance shoes/boots & all base costumes.

Performances: April 10, 11, 17 & 18 at 7:00pm and April 12 & 19 at 3:00pm

Rehearsals: 7:00 - 10:00pm February 9, 10, 12, 17, 19, 23, 24 March 2, 3, 5,, 9, 10, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26 April 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 and Sundays, March 8, 15, 22 & 29, 2:00 - 5:00pm
