COME FROM AWAY - Community Players of Concord Non Equity Auditions

Auditions have been announced by the Community Players of Concord for their fall musical, Come From Away, a globally acclaimed, award-winning show with a deeply moving score by Irene Sankoff and Daved Hein. Come From Away is based on the true story of the time when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the world, were diverted to the airstrip in Gander, Newfoundland on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of the small community of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family. The show is an uplifting reminder of humanity’s ability to come together, no matter the circumstances. The production will be performed on November 20 -22, 2026, at the Concord City Auditorium. It will be directed by Betsey Cox-Buteau, who directed last season’s The Addams Family, with music direction by Michael Shaw and choreography by Caleb Anderson.

Auditioners are asked to register in advance by completing an on-line audition form prior to audition night. Those interested in auditioning should go to the Players web page at

Information Night will be held on Monday, August 3 at 6:00pm at the Community Player’s Studio, 435 Josiah Bartlett Road, Concord, NH.

Auditions will be held at the Community Player’s Studio, 435 Josiah Bartlett Road, Concord, NH on Sunday, August 9, beginning at 5:00 pm (walk-ins will close at 8:00 pm) and again on Monday, August 10, beginning at 6:00 pm (walk-ins will close at 8:00 pm). Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, August, August 12, at 6:00pm and Thursday, August 13 at 6:30 pm at the Players Studio.
