The CM PERFORMING ARTS CENTER is holding open auditions for BEHOLD THE MOMENT on Tuesday, October 14th at 7pm. Please prepare a 16 – 32 bar cut of any song. An accompanist will be provided.
Please bring possible rehearsal and/or performance conflicts to the auditions. Rehearsals could take place on Sunday nights from 6pm-9pm and weeknights from 7-10PM. A schedule will be made around the performers’ availability. Performances will take place from December 5th thru December 22nd at various parishes across Long Island as well as at the CM Performing Arts Center. A schedule of performances will be distributed at the first rehearsal.

MARY – a 16 year old girl who becomes pregnant with Jesus through the Immaculate Conception (Mezzo – B3-C5)
JOSEPH – Mary’s husband, in his early 20s (Baritone – E3-F4)
ANGEL GABRIEL – visitor from the heavens to deliver news of Jesus’ birth (Tenor – C3-Ab4)
GABRIEL’S ANGELS – 2 female angels who sing backup (Mezzo – A3-F5)
CASPAR, MELCHIOR & BALTHAZAR – the three Magi who come from the East to meet the newborn king (Baritone)
KING HEROD – the evil king of Judea (Bass – F#2-E4)
STAR BEARER – an angel who carries the star through our journey (Non-singing role)
