Titirangi Theatre Presents The Sleeper - by Catherine Butterfield

The New York Twin Towers have fallen. A sheltered suburban housewife, deeply worried by the new security threats, both imagined and real, finds herself drawn to her son's tutor, a young and handsome man with politics very different from her own. Her life, as she knows it, is about to change forever.

The Sleeper received the 2004 Kaufman & Hart prize for Best American Comedy. Directed by Mark Mathews, The Sleeper is comic, sexy, fast and black.
