Titirangi Theatre Presents The Sleeper - by Catherine Butterfield
The New York Twin Towers have fallen. A sheltered suburban housewife, deeply worried by the new security threats, both imagined and real, finds herself drawn to her son's tutor, a young and handsome man with politics very different from her own. Her life, as she knows it, is about to change forever.
"The world is spinning out of control and all I can do is sit here and rub lotion on my hands."The Sleeper received the 2004 Kaufman & Hart prize for Best American Comedy. Directed by Mark Mathews, The Sleeper is comic, sexy, fast and black.Season: 17th to the 28th of November
