MEASURE FOR MEASURE And ROMEO AND JULIET Come To BATS In Vienna Verona 5 August - 15 August

This week at BATS Three Spoon Theatre will be taking over with a special double dose of Shakespeare in Vienna Verona - Measure for Measure & Romeo and Juliet, with their trademark enthusiasm and cleverness.

The shows will be be performed Wednesday 5th - Saturday 15th August (no show Sun/Mon).

Tickets: $16 full / $13 Concession, or get a double pass for just $25!

A preview is set to take place on Tuesday 4th August, with all tickets just $10.

Three Spoon Theatre hits the stage with Vienna Verona - an exciting project which brings together some of Wellington's finest young talent for a double-bill season of simultaneously standalone and
complementary productions of Measure for Measure and Romeo and Juliet.

Against a backdrop of urban dystopia, Vienna Verona stage the clash of politics with personal life. With theatrical bravado and their signature quirkiness, Three Spoon's radical reworking of Shakespeare pushes the boundaries of tragedy and comedy, bringing fresh energy to timeless ideas of love, sex and authority.

To win a double pass to the opening night of Vienna Verona, let them know what Shakespearean play has been made in to a movie completely in Te Reo.

The winner will be drawn randomly next Monday at 10.30am.
