The Duluth Playhouse is proud to present 42ND STREET, with music by Harry Warren, lyrics by Al Dubin and book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble. Based on the novel by Bradford Ropes, with original direction and dances by Gower Champion. Originally produced on Broadway by David Merrick. The show runs tonight, April 27, through May 8, 2016.

Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York City from Allenstown, PA with her tap shoes and big dreams of becoming a Broadway star. Facing adversity from all directions, the young but talented performer learns about show business and discovers which relationships are most important in life. 42ND STREET is a big, bold musical set in the 1930s filled with crowd-pleasing tap dances, popular musical theatre show tunes, and show-stopping ensemble numbers...all celebrating the stuff dreams are made of!

Join us for Dinner and a Show on April 30, or Brunch and a Show on May 1 in The Underground before the show. Catered by Blackwoods.
