Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is proud to present Sergei Prokofiev's symphonic fairy tale "Peter and the Wolf," performed by the Long Island Concert Orchestra, on Sunday, April 22 at 3 p.m., featuring world-renowned conductor Enrico Fagone from Italy and narrated by voice-over actor and former Long Island radio personality Cindy Clifford.

In this classic tale, a young boy named Peter disobeys his grandfather and climbs over the garden wall. When he encounters a wolf, with quick thinking and the help of his friends - a bird, a duck and a cat - Peter captures the wolf and it is taken to the zoo. The Long Island Concert Orchestra will familiarize young listeners with the various musical instruments as each character is represented by a different section of the orchestra. For generations, Prokofiev's work has introduced the concept of storytelling through music. This concert is an exciting & educational journey that is just the right length for families and small children.

Tickets for "Peter and the Wolf," performed by the Long Island Concert Orchestra, are now available online, by phone or at the box office. Ticket prices range from $15 to $35, plus applicable ticket fees.
