39 is the story of an astronaut who leaves everything behind to travel to a new world. Something goes wrong and he returns to Earth after six years, only to find that, due to the effects of travelling close to the speed of light, thirty-nine years have passed in his absence.
The Earth he returns to is almost as alien as a new planet.
The show will utilize non-traditional techniques such as movement, multi-media, and soundscapes to tell its story, and promises to be like no other show you've seen by YTG!
39 will also be touring Canada this summer (see below), but you can catch the World Premiere at the YCAC in Yokohama on March 27 @ 19:00 or March 28 @ 14:00!
This show will feature Japanese subtitles.
