Please prepare one contemporary or classical monologue not exceeding 3-minutes in length. Also, bring your picture and resume stapled together as well as your Equity Membership Card. (Required)

SYNOPSIS: 4 friends seek solace in each other's company after a catastrophic event has thrown the world into chaos by sharing a house over the Christmas holidays. The characters perform ordinary tasks like drinking coffee and cooking a turkey, hanging laundry to dry, telling stories and acting like bears. Their actions are tinged with an unsettling absurdity. Considered one of Shepard’s contemporary master works.

SYNOPSIS: Thornton Wilder’s classic three-part allegory about the resilience of mankind, centering on the Antrobus family of the fictional town of Excelsior, New Jersey. An epic comedy-drama which follows the family through an impending Ice Age, a world war and a devastating flood, all of which they survive by the skin of their teeth. The play explores the cyclical nature of time, the capacity of both creation and destruction within humanity, and the enduring human spirit.

ST. MILES - A Staged Reading

SYNOPSIS: Five years ago, the Ellis family lost one of its members, a young Black man named Miles, to an act of police violence. Now Miles’ mother Opal wants him to be recognized as a saint. As the Ellises navigate the arduous canonization process, the family clashes and battle lines are drawn. Is true salvation on the other side of it all? There are 10,000 saints in the Catholic Church — not one of them is African American. Yet.

SYNOPSIS: Tori and Franklin reunite with a group of friends in their suburban hometown where they all grew up as 'theatre kids', to attend a friend’s funeral. On the cusp of turning 30 years old, they seek solace in each others company as they compare experiences of growing pains and uncertainties about growing up and the way ahead on the path to adulthood. A comical discourse about the critical passage from the alienation of youth toward navigating adulthood without falling into the disillusion of middle-class establishment and remaining true to yourself and the pursuit of your dreams. A glowing comedy by Gracie Gardner.
