Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to your audition. Morning appointments start at 9:00 AM; afternoon appointments start at 1:00 PM. Lunch 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.
Free parking is available on Pagoda Circle in front of the main box office and the lower parking lot on the east side of the theatre. Enter through the General Office Door of the Administration Building.

Sign-ups begin Friday, January 2, 2026 at 9:00 AM CST. Deadline to register is Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. Due to high attendance and studio capacity, you MUST pre-register. There will be no walk-ins, alternate lists, or any appointments scheduled the day of the audition.

MSUA — $1325 weekly minimum (2025 rate) — pending negotiations. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

Equity chorus singers for roles in The Muny's 2026 Season (see breakdown). Actors are cast on a per-show basis and not as part of a repertory company. All performers are signed to an Equity MSUA contract.
Actors of all ethnicities, backgrounds, gender identities, body types, and abilities for all available roles are encouraged to audition. Local St. Louis, MO actors are likewise encouraged to audition.

Please prepare a short song in a style appropriate to the season’s shows. Be prepared to sing an additional contrasting selection if requested. Bring sheet music, picture/resume and your repertoire book; an accompanist will be provided.

Possible Early Rehearsal: June 1–3. Rehearsal: June 4–14. Performances: June 15–21 (7 performances).
Characters are all genders (cis, trans, and non-binary) and backgrounds to portray white and Black teenagers in 1960s Baltimore. Ensemble performers will portray dancers on The Corny Collins Show (Tammy, Brenda, Shelley, Lou Ann, Brad, Fender, Sketch, IQ) as well as The Motormouth Kids (Gilbert, Stooie, etc.). May play other featured roles as well. Exceptional dance ability with strong vocal and acting skills. VOCAL RANGES: ALL TYPES.
Characters are female (cis, trans, or non-binary). Black, late teens to 20s. The Dynamites are a talented 60’s vocal trio who are featured in many numbers and usually in tight harmony. VOCAL RANGE: Soprano, Mezzo and Alto.
