Equity actors for roles in Second City - Chicago 2026 Season (see breakdown). Auditions will be led by a Second City Director. These are improvised auditions; we are not seeing actors for traditional scripted plays or roles.
We are seeking improvisational acting talent to cast as understudies for the Chicago Touring Company and other upcoming projects. You must be a graduate of an improv and sketch comedy institution (for example: The Second City Conservatory, iO, UCB, The Pit, The Magnet, The Annoyance Theater, etc.) to be considered for an audition slot. Improv and sketch comedy experience is a plus. Various projects will occur throughout the year.
Potential Audition Dates: April 13, 14, and 15, 2026. Callbacks: April 17, 2026. Group auditions last 30 minutes and we have 11 slots per day, starting at 9:45 AM and ending at 5:00 PM.
If you have conflicts with the April audition dates, there will be another round of auditions in 2027. Audition dates for 2027 have yet to be determined.
