SYNOPSIS

Pure Glitter, a dazzling new play by Douglas Lyons, is a love letter to the chaotic, shimmering world of chosen family and the queer experience. Set in the vibrant chaos of Stan and Tony’s 10th anniversary surprise party, this comedy dives into the lives of six unforgettable gay men — each with their own flair, flaws, and fabulousness. Stan, the curator in crisis, hosts a night meant to celebrate love, but the arrival of flamboyant Rance, nervous Blair, chill Dwight, wise-beyond-his-years Niko, and mediator Tony sparks a cascade of unexpected drama. As exes collide and cocktails fly, this celebratory evening asks one tight group of gays to put their true cards on the table. A slice of life comedy about chosen family.
