Equity actors for the role of MARTHA HERMAN in MOTHER PLAY.

MARTHA HERMAN The daughter. 30s (this character also plays herself ranging from ages 11-50s). White. Undeniably queer. Has grown up working class. Serves as the play’s narrator, chronicling the family’s struggles over four decades. A strong facility with language as well as deep emotional availability alongside a keen sense of humor and play.

All roles will be understudied.
